Quilts of Valor Sew Day
The Tuesday Women Focus Journey Group comes together with other women from the community to produce quilts for veterans through the Quilts of Valor Foundation. The group has found that presenting a handmade quilt to a veteran is a healing experience. All are welcome to attend the next quarterly sew day.

June All-Church Meeting
All-Church Meetings occur. . .
In June for the purpose of electing a Nominating Committee and to vote on the next fiscal year budget; and
In September when we vote on the new leaders that the Nominating Committee puts forth and we review the previous fiscal year as presented in ministry and financial reports.
All Garland Church congregants are welcome to attend All-Church Meetings. However, membership is required to vote. To learn more about becoming a member of Garland Church, attend the next Welcome to Garland gathering or contact us for more information.

Baccalaureate
Join us in honoring our High School Graduates as they transition from childhood to adulthood. We’ll first celebrate them with a reception at 9am in the HUB. We’ll honor them during our Worship Gathering at 10am.

Community Day
Join us for the
Garland Community Day and Joya “Pop-Up” Penny Drive
Saturday, June 22 from 9am-1pm
The Penny Drive starts at 9am | Hot Dogs, Bubbles & Cornhole start at 10am
Joya was our long-time neighbor before relocating to their current facility. The Gents, Miss Shifters, Spokane Hot Rod Girls, Pharoahs and other INCCC Auto Clubs have been a familiar fixture in our Garland Church parking lot on past Penny Drive days. We welcome them back this year for a “Pop-up” Penny Drive from 9am-1pm. Look for tent in front of the parking lot. Free hot dogs will be served starting at 10. Check out the Bubbles and Cornhole Festival on the lawn across from the Post Office.

After Worship, we’ll head to the HUB for Lunch. Choose from church-provided pulled pork or chicken sandwiches.
SIGN-UP HERE to bring a side dish or a dessert.
After lunch EVERYONE is invited to the gym for dancing. Famed dance instructor, Paul Tapp will call the action. . . teaching us square dancing, line dancing and other shapes of dancing.
Dance in a square, make a circle of friends!
It’s a family event for all ages - bring your family and friends, no experience needed.
Not keen on shapes? Eat your lunch, but stay to hang out with friends and watch the dancing!

Good Friday Gathering
Be advised that the Good Friday service has been designed to engage your auditory senses. The sounds reflect ones that could be heard on that day and may not be appropriate for some children. There will be childcare for all ages in the Nursery. Check-in at the Welcome Center.

Baptism
On the last day of the 2023 we’re gathering for an Ignite Sunday Prayer Gathering and Baptism.

Through Jesus' resurrection, you have a new identity- one in whom He dwells and delights. If you would like to express your new identity through baptism, sign-up below. Pastor Rod will contact you in preparation for your baptism.
